And… another grey day in front of the keyboard. Interestingly, in the real world, it’s a beautiful day. Let’s see if I can take advantage of it and change the mood. Considering the house renovations aren’t finished yet, I’m constantly moving between my parents’ place and mine, and that’s definitely not helping.

Today is #legday, not just a normal leg day, but the first one in the last two months. Tomorrow will be fun.

How am I today? With my hands on the keyboard and my mind somewhere else, wishing to go out and about.

If there is a #TIL (Today I Learned), why isn’t there a #TIR (Today I Remembered)?

Today I remembered that summer, when I was a child, in the village when I saw a Macintosh Classic for the first time. Being used to MSX/Spectrum, it was something new to me. #TIR

It belonged to a neighbour, Ramiro, who was older than me; he barely used it as a word processor and not much else. I think it was the first time I held a mouse… probably when I started to hate them 😂 #TIR

I’ve been reworking the About section of the website. Very interesting stuff about the nowpages, couldn’t resist diving in. Also updated the resume, which had been outdated for over a decade.

It’s been fun, for a change.

Sometimes I feel a bit odd if I write toots in Spanish for English-speaking readers in Mastodon, but other times I understand that Spanish is the most suitable due to the location of what needs to be conveyed… so I’ve added this to my bio:

Hide my Spanish posts via selecting your preferred language(s) via:
Preferences → Other → Filter languages

It doesn’t fix anything but it doesn’t hurt either :P

I admit I have a love/hate relationship with microposting. On one hand, with platforms like Mastodon, it's very easy to use to generate written content and accompany it with a couple of photos/videos. On the other hand, I don't like the idea of content getting lost or handing it over to third parties (Twitter, cough cough)

The solution I came up with some time ago to not lose certain posts is to add a #micropost tag to them and import them into a section within my blog using a small program that takes that feed and transforms it into markdown importable in #hugo...

I need to install `node-0.10.something` in a `debian8` because reasons. After a while deciding which is the least bad option, I stumbled upon a post from my 2013 self with instructions. And I'm going to follow it.
