Long time no see

It had been a long time since we were all together like this. Friends, kids, noise, laughs, food, small talks, and that feeling of being in the right place without needing anything special to happen.
Sometimes life moves fast and everyone has their own things. Work, family, school, plans, tiredness. Days pass, then weeks, then months, and one day you realize that it has been too long since the last time.
So this afternoon felt really good. Nothing big, nothing fancy. Just the old gang, now with more kids running around, and a few hours to remember that some people are still there, even if we do not meet as often as we should.
It was a beautiful afternoon. I needed to write it somewhere.
